Megalodon, the giant shark, has finally arrived in Roblox Fisch as a part of the Ancient Isle update. As we expected, many players are having a hard time finding its location. Therefore, we’ll walk you through the Megalodon location in Fisch along with instructions to easily catch it in the game.
The update is now live at the game’s official Roblox page. If you haven’t caught the new Travis Scott fish in Roblox Fisch, it’s a perfect time to find out where to hook it after reading this guide.
Fisch Megalodon Shark Hunt Guide
Megalodon is the biggest fish to exist in Roblox Fisch which is why catching it isn’t an easy task. Below you can check out the steps to get it in the game.
Megalodon Location
The Megalodon Shark has a 5% chance to spawn at the start of a new in-game day in Fisch but it’s spawn location isn’t fixed in the game.
Most of the time, the shark can be found near the new Ancient Isle island which is located between Snowcap and Mush Grove.
Once Megalodon spawns in Fisch, the game will notify you by sending an alert popup at the bottom of your screen stating “Megalodon Hunt event has begun.”
At this point, you can find the the event area using fish radar or by looking for a giant red circle and black clouds in the sky.
However, it’s worth noting that you will encounter various sharp obstacles while you’re heading to the Megalodon’s location that can damage your boat.
So, we recommend carrying advanced diving gear in your inventory to avoid drowning in the middle of the ocean.
How To Catch Megalodon
To catch Megalodon shark in Fisch, you’ll need a rod capable of handling at least 8,000 kg such as the Steady Rod. Once you have that, locate the Megalodon during the hunt event and cast your rod right inside the event area.
If there are no players nearby, the Megalodon catch is guaranteed in the game. However, the event location is usually crowded by a bunch of Fisch players which means the Megalodon will be rewarded to a random user.
If that happens, you can try to catch the shark again by repeating the same process. Once you hook a Megalodon, a cutscene will trigger in the game and the giant shark will be added to your inventory.
All Rarities and Their Spawn Rate
- Regular Megalodon – 90% chance
- Ancient Megalodon – 8% chance
- Phantom Megalodon – 2% chance
However, keep in mind that it automatically despawns if no player arrives at the event location and catches it.
Megalodon Selling Value
The cost of Megalodon in Fisch depends on its weight and rarity, but you can sell it for anywhere around 15,000 to 25,000 in-game credits if it’s a regular one. However, some players have reported that Megalodon’s price can be increased up to a staggering 200,000 credits by appraising it into a shiny variant.
