Anime Vanguards isn’t your typical Tower Defense Game as it is filled to the brim with a ton of tricky elements. As a result, many players, especially newcomers, tend to commit some of the most common mistakes that hammer your overall progress in the long run. Below is a detailed list of the blunders you shouldn’t make in Anime Vanguards at all costs.
5 Most Common Mistakes to Avoid in Anime Vanguards
We’ve organized the list below in descending order which means the mistake at the top will have the least impact on your progress and as you move down, the severity of its effect will increase.
5. Neglecting Daily Quests and Challenges
It’s no secret that Anime Vanguards constantly issues a new list of challenges and quests every 24 hours. While they’re primarily integrated into the game to test your skills, you can also use them to your advantage by grabbing the useful rewards they offer.
For example, you can obtain rare items like Rainbow Essence, Essence Stones, and roll tokens for free but they usually cost real money if you buy them from the store. In the end, you’re saving your hard-earned money and getting premium advantages by completing daily quests and challenges.
4. Forgetting the AFK Chamber
In Anime Vanguards, AFK Chamber is an area where you can earn gems for free without doing anything in the game. Staying in the AFK Chamber for every 120 seconds or two minutes will reward you with a total of 10 gems if you’re a regular player in Anime Vanguards. And, if you’re a VIP player, you’ll get 15 gems during the same period. Luckily, you can minimize the Roblox client and do your other tasks in the meantime and still get rewards from the AFK Chamber.
Taking a real-world example, we once left our computer turned on for about 2.5 hours, and when we came back, we had a whopping 2,800 gems. It’s a simple but effective way to gather resources without lifting a finger. Just remember you can’t close the game from the background; otherwise, you’ll lose your entire progress.
3. Summoning duplicate units too early
Pulling out the same units multiple times is one of the biggest blunders we have seen Anime Vanguards players make in the game. In simple words, you’re just wasting your gems. We understand new players want to unlock new characters as quickly as they can but it’s worth noting that it’s simply not the right approach. You should be focusing on summoning the strongest characters in the game that will give you an advantage on the field.
During the gameplay, we discovered that Sun Jin-Woo, Chain, and Obito are three units that you must have in your inventory. Therefore, if any banners don’t feature any of the three characters, simply avoid spending your gems.
2. Rolling Stats Before Reaching 100% Potential
Rolling stats in Anime Vanguards is possible via the use of a special item known as Stat Chip. As we’ve personally experienced, using the Stat Chips isn’t worth it until you hit the milestone because the item could even make your stats worse which means you’re betraying your powerful units. Instead, we recommend saving your Stat Chip as long as you’re not sure you’re getting A tier or better stats from it.
1. Wasting Trait rerolls on random units
Using Trait Reroll on random units is so far the biggest blunder Anime Vanguards players make. It’s important to understand that Trait rerolls are as rare as gems which means you shouldn’t be wasting them blindly. Instead of using it on any random unit, try to modify the traits of an S-Tier or A-Tier unit.
After sorting out your best units, use your rolls on secondary ones like your farm units. There are plenty of ways to earn rerolls in the game, like completing Paragons, daily quests, and challenges. Even the battle pass gives you rolls, so it’s worth getting.
